2018 Solar Car Challenge (SCC) - Competition Day 5 - El Paso, TX to Phoenix, AZ

Today, was a fun day with a mix of early morning road driving over a scenic 46.4 mile stretch on Hwy 70 from Lordsburg, NM to Safford, AZ, coupled with a visit to the University of Arizona Tech Center and to Arizona State University.

For all the teams that completed the 46.4 mile driving portion, placement within the division was based on the elapsed time required to complete the driving. Today or team was operating like a well oiled machine and we completed the driving portion in 2 hours and 3 minutes, earning us a 2nd place finish in our division for the day.

Our team had an excellent time visiting with those who came out to meet us at the University of Arizona Tech Park and with members of the other teams. All in all, this was probably our favorite day so far on the trip!
