Final reassembly of the Solar Express for display at EarthX 2018

Today (weekday), Tim Tarkington and Shannon Caraway try to get the last elements of the car reassembled for display at the 2018 EarthX event at Dallas Fair Park on April 20th, 21st, and 22nd. Principle tasks were:

1) installing the new 12 volt battery and cleaning up the 12 volt wiring, and

2) mounting the nose cone on the revised front frame structure

3) finishing welding up the new rear powertrain assembly and testing out the reassembled 48 volt motor control circuit.
